Automated Infrastructure for Video Streaming

In 2013-2014, aimtheory was asked to contribute to a large team effort to get the OnCue online television service off the ground (which was was purchased by Verizon and rebranded as Oath). Large amounts of infrastructure automation code was written in Chef and Sparkleformation (think AWS CloudFormation) to deploy many popular open source technologies (like Zookeeper, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, the list goes on and on) and then deliver core applications to the infrastructure.
